頻率副詞 Adverbs of Frequency

1.       頻率副詞顧名思義表示動作的次數與頻率。例如：always（總是）、often（常常）、sometimes（有時）、seldom（很少）、never（從不）、twice a week（一週兩次）等。通常以現在簡單式表達。

2.      頻率副詞通常置於一般動詞之前，be動詞、助動詞之後；片語頻率副詞通常置於句尾。例如：

l   She is always late for school.（她上課總是遲到。）

l   I often play tennis on weekends.（我時常在週末打網球。）

l   He never forgets his mother’s birthday.（他從沒忘記他母親的生日。）

3.      Sometimes 可放句中，句首，句尾。例如：

l   Sometimes I go to school by bus.

l   I sometimes go to school by bus.

l   I go to school by bus sometimes.

4.      Often 如果被quite, very 等副詞修飾時，則必須置於句尾。例如：

l   He often goes to the movies.

l   He goes to the movies very often.

5.      頻率副詞可以How often起首作問句。例如：

A: How often do you go to the movies?

B: We go to the movies twice a month.
